In 2008, Dr Kee took over as Program Director of the renal transplant program at the Singapore General Hospital and became the Clinical Director of the Transplant Centre at the Singapore General Hospital in 2013. In 2015, He also was appointed as Deputy Director for Research and Education in SingHealth Transplant.
Dr Kee is also Chairman of the Chapter of Renal Physicians in the Academy of Medicine and sits on various advisory committees at the Ministry of Health of Singapore including the Transplant Advisory Committee and the Renal Transplant Advisory Sub-committee. He is also Director of Special Projects for Sengkang Hospital Planning Committee.
He holds adjunct academic appointments at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School of Medicine and the Yong Loo-Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. Dr Kee is an associate editor of the Transplantation Reviews as well as Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare. Dr Kee is a member of several professional societies including the Singapore Society of Nephrology, Society of Transplantation (Singapore), American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Transplantation, International Society of Nephrology and Transplantation Society. Currently, he is President of the Society of Transplantation (Singapore).
Finally, Dr Kee is the founder and team leader of SingHealth Freewheelers, a cycling club for SingHealth staff which aims to use cycling as a platform to promote health education and networking among staff in SingHealth.
