Profile

Dr Pek Jen Heng completed his medical undergraduate studies at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2009. He subsequently completed his training with the SingHealth Emergency Medicine Residency Program in 2016.

Dr Pek joined the Department of Emergency Medicine of Sengkang General Hospital in 2016 and led the workgroup in developing the paediatric emergency service. He served as the Chairman of Junior Doctors Well-Being Committee of Sengkang General Hospital from 2020 to 2023, and the Commander for Disaster Site Medical Command under Ministry of Health from 2021 to 2024.

Dr Pek has a keen clinical interest in Disaster Medicine, Paediatric Emergency Medicine and Trauma. He is a strong proponent for the use of simulation in medical education and interprofessional learning.
