Profile

Dr Tan Hiang Jin is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Surgery in Changi General Hospital. A graduate of the National University of Malaysia (2013), Dr Tan completed his General Surgery Residency Training at SingHealth (2017-2022) and earned a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2022. He is an accredited specialist in the field of general surgery with a clinical interest in treating hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions, and trained in minimally invasive and robotic surgery in general surgery and the treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions.

A firm believer in constant improvement and medical innovation, Dr Tan has published and presented his work at multiple local and international conferences. Committed to educating and nurturing the next generation of medical professionals, Dr Tan dedicates his time to mentoring both undergraduate medical students as well as postgraduate surgical residents.
