Profile

Dr Sinead Wang is the team lead for the Community Geriatrics workgroup within Singhealth Polyclinics (SHP). She is also an Clinical Assistant Professor for the Duke-NUS Family Medicine Programme.


Sinead graduated from the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2007, and continued her studies in Singapore to obtain her Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2011, becoming a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians in 2014. Sinead also holds Graduate Diplomas in Geriatric Medicine, Mental Health, and Family Practice Dermatology.


Sinead has worked in SHP for the last ten years. Sinead was also a core faculty member of the SingHealth Family Medicine Residency Programme from 2014 – 2017, and served as Chief Resident of the SingHealth Family Medicine Programme from 2014 – 2016.


The Community Geriatrics workgroup, for which Sinead is the team lead, actively looks into improving the clinical care and services available for the elderly who attend SHP. Some of the key initiatives that Sinead and her team has driven, include expansion of the scope of memory clinic services, as well as creation of a multi-disciplinary Falls and Frailty assessment service within SHP.
